We focus on dishes that are immediately recognizable. The dishes on our menu and the wine we like to serve have history, a story that celebrates the joys of simplicity, freshness and quality. We happily spend hours sourcing from producers who are putting their heart and soul into producing beautiful quality fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and cheese.
Fresh mussels from Dromana, quality cheeses from husband and wife team in Mt Martha, our friend Kerry at King’s Market Garden or from further afield like the sustainable Spencer Gulf Prawn fisheries or the Bass Strait scallops that go into our Scallop pot pie. We are always seeking out the tastiest, freshest and most interesting ingredients using our moral compass to ensure our guests are enjoying the best possible produce.

Of course the most exciting thing for us after so many years in the city is our huge vegetable garden down the road where we get to grow all the things we have been dreaming of using during our many years of cooking and reading about food, you will always find little touches in many of our dishes of herbs and vegetables that you may have not seen in a long time or perhaps had never seen at all.
